Armthorpe Arrest - Persistent Theft offender

A few days ago we asked for information regarding a series of Thefts in the Armthorpe area that had been highlighted on social media but unreported to Police.

We were aware of the Offenders identity but frustratingly we did not have any details of who the victims were or the offence locations.

Last night, Doncaster East Neighbourhood Officers were in the area when they spotted the Offender walking on Church Street. 

The male was quickly apprehended and found himself wearing handcuffs in the back of a Police Car.

Thankfully those that have been victims of crime had now got in contact and made us aware of the offence location, enabling us to start the investigation.

The Offender was whisked of to Doncaster Custody where he was interviewed for Theft of Motor vehicle, Theft of plants and vehicle interference.

The male remains under investigation and positive action will be taken if sufficient evidence is obtained.
